  • Birds for bulbs is a cute site and a great idea. The basic premise is this: If you switch one or more of your light bulbs to a CFL (Compact fluorescent light-bulb, which produces smaller amounts of harmful emissions), and send them an email with your name, they’ll draw you a bird.
